For root use su- (password abc123)


Front ports: console, mgmt, HA
Default management admin IP = 192.168.1.1


To go into setup wizard su -

#nano /etc/redhat-release

...and change the entry in the file to:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (Tikanga)


1. unzip nsm2010.4q59_servers_linux_x86.zip
2. unzip nsm2010.4-systemupdate-linux.zip
3. tar xvf nsm2010.4-systemupdate-linuxES_5.tar
4. cd es5/
5. sh ./rhes5.sh
6. cd..
7. sh ./nsm2010.4q59_servers_linux_x86.sh



NB. Make sure libfont package is installed:
#rpm -qa | grep libfon*



You can then connect to the web front end on the IP address specified during install https://x.x.x.x:8443 and you can download and install the NSM client utility.
